I tried everything. i downloaded SurfaceGo_FixNoBootableDevice.Zip and followed all steps properly but Unfortunately every time I boot onto the SurfaceGo_FixNoBootableDevice.Zip stick, all I see it a command prompt window with the line -

X:\windows\system32>wpeinit

    Hello Hardik Patel,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

After reading everything you've posted here, I note that you should have found the download address of the Surface recovery image file with the help of the serial number, but let me kindly point out that you may not have followed the correct process to create a Surface-specific recovery drive.

You need to create a USB recovery drive first, and then overwrite your downloaded files into the USB recovery drive, which is the completion of the Surface dedicated USB recovery drive creation.

For specific steps, you can check out the video tutorial in the link below:

Creating and using a USB recovery drive for Surface - Microsoft Support

Make sure you follow the instructions in the video to the letter to create a Surface dedicated USB recovery drive, and then use the power button and volume down button to get to the WinRE page

    Best Regards,

Mitchell | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
