We suggest the methods below:
- Run Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and check Windows Update.
- Force the device to restart. Press the power button for 20 seconds.
- Uninstall HID-Compliant Touch Screen driver and restart. Go to Human Interface Devices. > Expand **Human Interface Devices,**and Right-click HID-Compliant Touch Screen. > Right-click on HID-Compliant Touch Screen and select Uninstall. If there is more than one driver, uninstall those as well. > Restart the Surface and attempt to reproduce the issue.
- Boot the device to UEFI and check if the is present. Turn off the device > press the volume up then the power button for 15 seconds.
