Sorry, there is no setting to do this.
How to keep the keyboard back light always on?
I'd like the keyboard backlight always on, and I accept that there would be a battery life penalty for doing this...Is there an option to have it on at all times instead of dimming off after inactivity?

With each passing day I regret buying the Surface Laptop Studio for things like that...
My Surface Laptop Studio broke in a BIOS update when it was only 6 months old and has had to be replaced...
I've been trying to update Windows 11 to 22H2 for a month and I can't (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/all/receiving-bsod-error-in-windows-11-updating-to/ d94decb9-cd92-4203-a913-59342edb9187).
And now I find out that I can't configure the keyboard back light always on
What I said... how I regret it...

2023-01-16T09:29:57+00:00 In the other thread, they suggested and in place upgrade. it looks like you tried to run the upgrade assistant instead of create an installable USB Stick to use for the in place upgrade. At this point, it might be worth actually trying the in place upgrade. How to run In-place upgrade in Windows 11 - Microsoft Community might help.
