Bluetooth Audio Dropouts When Listening To Streaming Video

Hi everyone. I've had persistent problems when using bluetooth headphones while listening to streaming video from Netflix, Now TV, Amazon Prime etc. Basically, I have repeated, brief but definite dropouts in the audio stream. During a long session with tech support, I tried turning off audio enhancements, turning on and off the setting that allows "applications to take exclusive control of this device", re-installing the drivers for the headphones, trying a different set of bluetooth headphones, applying all pending software updates and re-installing the whole driver package for the Surface Laptop. Eventually they acknowledged that there was probably a fault with the laptop and I went through the exchange process (which I now wish I hadn't). I was then sent a refurbished unit where the audio seemed ok, but it had small but noticeable screen damage. After a  long and painful process with tech support (again) they eventually replaced this unit and gave me the one I am now typing on. This one is cosmetically ok, but has the same audio problem. I am waiting to hear back from customer support. My question is whether anyone else has had the same problem? It seems like it might be an issue with the model itself rather (2 out of the 3 I have had seemed to have the same problem). Mine is a 13 inch, intel processor, 256gb, 8gb model. I'd be really interested to hear from anyone who has had the same issues. It seems pretty poor to me that a device this expensive has such a basic problem with core functionality (watching video and using wireless headphones).

    Hi,

Do you have installed lastest Network/Bluetooth drivers from Intel?

    Intel AX201 Drivers

I have the Intel version also and I use a BT Headphones without any issue with Zoom.

You can update the Wireless driver at the same time.

I have updated these Intel driver from vendor site without any issue:

    Regards,
