Hi, Just got a Surface Pro 8, which has 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. How do I convert all my other devices that only have USB (3.1 I believe)?? Like my external hard drive, or CD/DVD reader, etc.? I see reference to USB-C, but not sure if that's the same as Thunderbolt, because I see references to the Surface Pro 8 having 2 USB-C ports, but the paperwork calls it Thunderbolt 4. I don't find this match when I search. Hope you might know. Thanks.

You need a USB-C to USB-A cable like Amazon.com: Amazon Basics USB Type-C to USB-A 2.0 Male Charger Cable, 6 Feet (1.8 Meters), Black : Electronics - The Thunderbolt designation isn't relevant to your needs.
