It is on the ride side just above the USB port.  You can find the adapter there at the Microsoft Store as well.

The micro-SD port can also be a challenge to find as well.  You open the kickstand and is located on the lower left side when facing the back of it.

I never hooked mine up to test it.  I have a mini-notebook that has a real HDMI port and a real SD card slot (plus has a VGA port as well) that I am starting to use instead.  The unreliability of WiFi has put my RT at risk of going back into its box and be stored in a closet forever.

It comes with a mini-HDMI but does require an adapter though.  You can probably call it a "micro" mini and is non-standard.  I have a mini-HDMI cable that will not plug into mine.  The adapter is required.

thanks for the reply.. well I checked in the Surface RT Specification .. surprisingly don't see any Mini-HDMI port in the Tech spec..!

    • Can you connect with the TV (watch Netflix or YouTube) with an Adapter and Standard HDMI Cable..?
    • How is the video Quality.. compared to connect your laptop to your TV with HDMI cable ?

Yes, there are cords with the mini connector on one end and the full HDMI on the other.  I have not tried those, though.  You can go to Best Buy or other stores that sell electronics and may even be able to test it on a demo monitor if they sell the cable.
