Unless the monitor/TV natively supports Miracast, unfortunately, there is no way
to connect wirelessly UNLESS the monitor supports HDMI IN and you purchase a
Miracast dongle to plug in to the monitor's HDMI IN port. Microsoft makes one

connecting Surface pro 6 to Samsung monitor wirelessly
How do I connect my surface pro 6 to my Samsung monitor wirelessly? It seems the monitor doesn't have a bluetooth option, so I cannot screen share. What other option do I have to do it wirelessly?

Thank you for your reply. I am bit confused. Do you mean the monitor must support Miracast? if it does then I have an option of pluging in Miracast dongle in the Monitor's HDMI IN, if it does not support Miracast then even with that dongle it will not work, Have I understood correct?

some people refer to TV's (many of which support Miracast) as monitors.
- if your monitor is really a TV that does not support Miracast, if it has an
HDMI in port, adding a dongle will give it Miracast capabilities. - as for a non-TV monitor, if it has an HDMI in port, adding an external dongle
may give it Miracast capabilities.
It would help if you could provide the model number of the Samsung monitor.
