Surface pro 7 missing wi-fi & bluetooth (temporarily fixed with UEFI)

I have a surface pro 7 model with i5 processor.

Few months back, I noticed the wi-fi & bluetooth suddenly stopped working and their icons missing from the system bar.

Tried some of the solutions I found online, mostly related to the drivers, none of them worked. So it came down to a factory reset.

After making a recovery drive and reset the unit with it, the wifi & bluetooth started working again, but then after 15 minutes or so they were gone again.

After browsing for more solutions online, I noticed that this problem can be fixed temporarily by:

entering UEFI --> turn off wi-fi & bluetooth, reset --> entering UEFI --> turn them on --> reset once again

After fixing them that way, they will work for about 1 or 2 hours, but then eventually wi-fi and bluetooth stop working again.

I feel like this is not a hardware problem since they work fine after the method I described above, do anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this permanently?

    Hi Radhyaksa,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you and we appreciate the time and effort spent in performing the troubleshooting steps prior to posting.

Yes, this is likely a hardware issue already on the Surface considering also that a USB Recovery were tried already but still the issue persist. I suggest contacting our live support team for options available and for further assistance. You may contact them through the numbers listed in Global Customer Service phone numbers (microsoft.com) under For Business users. This works with Home users also, just select Surface then Home as a type of user in the IVR prompt. You may also reach them through this page: Contact Us - Microsoft Support following the steps below:

1: Go to Contact Us - Microsoft Support and sign-in your personal Microsoft Account

2: To make sure you are using the correct locale of the page, click the Globe icon on the lower-left corner of the page then select the country you are in.
