Surface Earbud case won't charge

I bought a set of earbuds for my wife as I love mine. She did not open them for over a year and when she did the charging case would not charge. I went to support and purchased a replacement case. When I got the case it does not charge either. I know its the case because I can charge the earbuds in my case. Now I have a replacement that does not work and I simply need to get one that does but do not want to have to buy another one. I can't seem to find who I can talk to get this resolved?

    Hi WayneCar11,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that it is very important for the Surface Earbuds to have a working charging case for the earbuds to serve it's purpose after charging.

    The Surface earbuds should automatically pair to your replacement charging case. If you charge the charging case and put the earbuds inside the case, you should see an LED light fading in and out white while the case is plugged in.

    If the case and the earbuds doesn't charge, make sure if the Surface Earbuds is up to date including its case. You may check this page for the steps to Update Surface Earbuds.
