Slow wifi after Instant On wake up

Hello,

I just acquired a Surface Laptop 3 13.5'' and I noticed that wifi becomes (way) slower after waking up from sleep mode. A speed test shows a decrease in the order of 90% (from 100 Mbps to 10 Mbps).

I am not alone (a couple of posts on reddit deal with this issue) and I think it affects all the new Surface devices with Intel Wifi 6. Is Microsoft aware of this issue? Because it makes Instant On feature completely useless if it costs 90% of wifi speed.

Note that I don't have issue with Ethernet.

They just released a new WIFI driver update. I really hope this fixes it but if not I'll be spamming them with lots of emails and calls. 🤞

I have the same issue with the Wifi on a Surface Laptop 3.

We are almost heading over a new decade and Microsoft can't get their equipment to work 100%. This is very frustrating as I have to deal with this issue on a daily basis.  😒

Any updates or even official recognition from Microsoft on this issue? Seriously annoyed. I bought a new Surface Laptop this week and have been having all kinds of wifi issues. Tried exchanging and the new device is also having the same issues. Extremely frustrating. I really like the laptop but if the issue isn't resolved very very soon, I can't risk missing out on the return period and ending up with what would essentially be a pretty metal brick without functional wifi :(

I just got done trying this and it did not help !!

Also I found and updated the driver for the Intel AX201to version 21.50.1 and it did not help either

What else can be done??
