azure breaks everything

joining Azure Ad triggers Office 365 and windows licensing to break.

Office 365 (all apps) become forced to close and gives an error requesting a repair. We have run that repair as well as the online repair for Office 365 with no luck

Also caused windows to lose its license requiring a key to reactivate windows.

This has happened on two separate laptops, one laptop was joined to on-prem AD and left to join Azure. Both laptops were working 100% prior to joining Azure. Leaving Azure resolves both issues

Both laptops are fully up to date as of 4/17/2020 including security updates.

Hi Sweeney,

As I've said the computer is fully up to date including security definitions. This is also a security issue from over a year ago, which we have definitely updated from since. All apps were working fine prior to joining Azure, once joined they break, if we leave Azure they work again.

while joined to Azure AD, check licensing blade in AAD to see if there are any reported issues. Maybe there are some errors in the audit log.
