Do you have a Surface PRO 3, a Surface Laptop 3, or a Surface Book 3? You posted in PRO 3, but we need to verify as PRO 3 is discontinued and there would not be replacements available even out of warranty.
My Surface Pro 3 Won’t Turn On
I was using my device when is started getting a little laggy (as it does sometimes). I saw that there was also an update for it so I clicked on update and restart. So it updated and the started the reset, but when it was turning back on it showed the surface start up screen for a while and then it just shut off and won’t turn back on. I have tried all the fixes that I see from the Microsoft support but they didn’t work and I can’t send it in to be fixed because unfortunately my warranty is over. PLEASE HELP!

2022-03-18T17:15:40+00:00 I tried ctrl shift windows b. I tried holding down the power button for 20 seconds. I tried holding it down for 30 seconds and then holding both the power button and the volume up button. And I left it charging over night.

2022-03-18T17:22:18+00:00 Try pressing the Windows Key + P multiple times with your type cover to
see if the Surface is somehow targeted to an external monitor.
If this and all previously attempts fail and you don't even see the Surface logo and you know it is charged and plugged in to AC, then this is likely a hardware failure and there is no further troubleshooting we can do. Very sorry..
