Surface Pro 4 Type cover fabric detaching

The fabric of the Type Cover I bought with my Surface Pro 4 is coming apart at the seams - quite literally.

It has a lot of wear from carrying it around in my bag on a daily basis.

Since the keyboard and trackpad still work perfectly, it seems like a waste to just buy a new one (specially at the price tag of a new Type Cover).

Does anyone have the same problem and have managed to stick the fabric again? I don't know which kind of adhesive to use without damaging the cover.

I tried, but if I select my surface, there are only options for servicing the surface or the pen, both of which still work perfectly.

The Type cover works perfectly as well, the only problem is the cosmetic damage to the fabric, and since I didn't see the proper place in the support page to place the question, I was asking here.

I understand Microsoft not recommending people to service accessories by themselves, but I'm out of options here, and the Microsoft vendors I've visited here in Taiwan only offer me the "buy a replacement type cover" option.

I've checked the price of a new Type cover, and it's about 150€ (I'd buy the Spanish one, since it has the keys I need, as opposed to the Chinese keyboard I have, which is missing 1 key). If I had to buy a new one because the old one is useless, I'd consider it. Since the old one works, it looks to me like a monumental waste of money and electronic components.
