When Surface Pro 2 is completely frozen, what is the procedure to force it to shutdown & power off? I read about a 2-button method, but I cannot find my notes.

Hold down the power button for 15 seconds then:

Step 1:	Press and hold the volume-up button and the power button on your Surface at the same time for at least 15 seconds, and then release both. <br><br>The screen may flash the Surface logo, but continue holding the buttons down for at least 15 seconds.
Step 2:	After you release the buttons, wait 10 seconds.
Step 3:	Press and release the power button on your Surface to turn it back on.

Thank you! This was a very helpful reply. I will try not to lose these steps. I think knowledge of this procedure should be more widely available. It is not mentioned in the Surface Pro 2 User Guide.
