Surface studio 2 - Jitter line

Hello, sorry in advance for my bad english.

I have a surface studio 2. I love this computer but I'm also an artist and I'm very frustrated by the jitter. I always have jitter line when I draw. I use the surface pen et surface slim pen but there is no differences for the jitter bug...

And yes, I don't have jitter with fast line.

Do you have any solution for this ?

Thanks for your help,

Francois S

I have the same problem (see picture below).

Using "Microsoft Whiteboard" I drew lines with the Surface Studio 2 (red) and an iPad Pro (blue).

Since I draw a lot and I'm used to draw on a glassy surface, my freehand lines (1) are normally pretty straight.

In order to eliminate jitter I used a physical ruler on either the Surface Studio 2 and the iPad Pro (2).

The straight lines can only be produced when using the built in software ruler (3).

    Hello,

    Thank you for the sharing

I paint and draw a lot for my work. 6 month ago, I bought a surface studio 2 to replace my old cintiq 22 HD and Imac 2009.

The studio 2 seems to be the perfect compromise to my job.

Personnaly, I use a smooth to the line on a separated app "Lazy Nezumi" when I'm working in photoshop. I can do straigh line automaticaly in photoshop but I want to draw it with my hand to keep the arstitic feeling and render.

    ...

Finally, I always hope that microsoft can fix this trick of jitter. It's very  stupid to have this on a professionnal computer like the studio. It could be the perfect tool without that.

    Hi,

Sorry I never use onenote but you can see on the picture what I have at home. I think it is pretty good on the surface studio 2, the line is much better than photoshop. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. I don't know why ...

We are not on the same surface machine ...

I think, it's because in OneNote it is vectorized. You can zoom in without seeing pixels, and possibly smoothed.

I don't know about Photoshop, does Adobe vectorize the lines? Can you smoothen it?

Anyway, it is still annoying that you can't draw a straight line on such a machine. That's why it has this screen, this is what it's been made for.

    Microsoft? Any clues?
