Based on the description you posted, it seems that you have an issue with Surface laptop studio 2 wherein some of the keys are not working (Y,U,I,O,backspace, left direction key, maybe more). This may be caused by keyboard driver, Windows update or the device keyboard itself.

- We make sure your Surface Laptop Studio 2 is up to date with the latest software updates. To do this, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click "Check for updates."
