Hi,
We bought a windows surface in the US for our daughter.
We live in Switzerland but we prefer the US qwerty. Can't get used to quertz French or Swiss keyboards.
We installed the language packs - ok.
We created a FR US keyboard - ok.
We can switch ENG/FRA in the task bar with mouse and <windows> + <space> - ok
Still if you type ' + a we don't get á but 'a
none of the accented chars are showing properly.
'e instead of é
`a instead of à
~o instead of õ
'c instead of ç
...
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you

Hi @domcarter
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately I don't think it helps her much since she uses it to to take notes in fast paced classes at the university...
I starting to regret buying this thing :(

Hi jusoaresf,
I would like to know, does the keyboard of your Surface Pro 6 is still the one that comes with your Surface or this is already an exchange Surface Type cover?
Looking forward on your response.
Regards,
Edd
Hi Edd,
Still the original. Device, keyboard/cover, pen... whole thing is 2 weeks old only .
It's all set and configured except this...

Hi jusoaresf,
Thanks for your patience on this and thank you for clarifying that. We would like to know, you mentioned " We live in Switzerland but we prefer the US qwerty. Can't get used to quertz French or Swiss keyboards." Do you mean, physically the keys of your keyboard is not QWERTY?
Looking forward on your response.
Regards,
Edd
