Nice find. This worked well for me. Windows 11 Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631. I really appreciate it.
I may have found the working driver for the Surface Pro 3 Marvell Avastar wifi controller!
My Surface Pro 3 would not connect to my T-Mobile 5G Home Internet Modem/Router. The driver chosen by Microsoft for the device PCI\VEN_11AB&DEV_2B38&SUBSYS_045E0001&REV_00 is an outdated one from 2018. The Win10 O/S would list the device as fully updated and enabled without issue and as not working simultaneously. The device would see wifi networks but could not connect.
The driver that works for my Surface Pro 3 is one released by Marvell in 9/2021 as cataloged by Microsoft Update itself as: "Marvell Semiconductors, Inc. - Net - 15.68.17022.122". It is located at:
https://catalog.s.download.windowsupdate.com/c/msdownload/update/driver/drvs/2021/12/dd4ef71a-9b04-4141-9a49-0a68923dfb03_7ba5532b71eca180dc1ba1ddce8351406da98334.cab following my search: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=marvell+avastar. After downloading the .cab into a folder, extract its files, and update the Marvell Avastar driver from this particular location.
Please note that if you have a different 045E000"X" id, then another of the listed driver packages may apply to you.
Good luck, and let me know of your outcome.
