Getting Surface Pro 6 and Surface Pen work with Gimp. (Pressure sensitivity, etc.)

So I found multiple topics open about setting up Gimp on Surface 3 to work with the pen but all of those are old 3 years and talk about N-trig that I can't even find anymore.

Does anyone knows something about this problem and could help me to set up Gimp to recognize my Surface Pen and use the pressure sensitivity the pen provides? I really has no starting point or something where I could start. Thanks for any tips.

You may need the wintab drivers, which Microsoft has not added to the SP6

download page (or SP5th generation for that matter). You can get them by going

    to the SP4 download page

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49498 both 64 and 32

    bit drivers are available

    Wintab_x32_1.0.0.20.zip

    Wintab_x64_1.0.0.20.zip
