Hi,

I have just bought a Dell Curved Video Conferencing Monitor - C3422WE with the intention to use it with my surface book via docking. The only compatible way to connect it is by USB C. Unfortunately it doesn't work. The computer detects the connection but gives me a message worning that it might be a compatibility problem. The monitor on the other hand, does not even detect the connection.

What shall I do?

Thanks,

Radu

There appear to be 2 USB-C ports, which one are you using? See Troubleshoot connecting Surface to a second screen (microsoft.com) for suggestions and for tested cables and setting.

You can use several other means besides USB-C to connect per Dell 34 Curved Video Conferencing Monitor - C3422WE | Dell USA :

    Thanks Barb,

Indeed, I have connected it to another port and it worked!

    All the best,

    Radu
