My Surface Book 3 has been upgraded to Win11 - pleased with that.

But when will the upgrade be ready for my (newer) Surface Laptop Go ? I would like both devices to be on the same OS

    Hello YoungE14,

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We totally understand how important for you to upgrade your device to Windows 11.

Surface Laptop Go is one of the compatible Surface devices with Windows 11. If upgrade is not yet available via Windows Update settings, please try upgrading it manually.

    Here's how:

    1. Device must have 9 GB of free disk space to download Windows 11.
    2. Ensure the currently installed OS is Windows 10, version 2004 or higher.
    3. Download and install the Windows 11 Installation Assistant.

    1. Run the tool then Select Accept and Install.
    2. Follow instruction and complete setup.

If this answers your question, please let our Community know by marking this post as an answer. This helps others who may have the same concern as you.

    Kind regards,

    StevenK
