I have 2 Dell (P2214H) monitors that use DVI-D cable. Will they work with Dock 4 if I the other end of the cable is USBc? If not, is there a way to use these monitors with Surface 5?

    Hi Rafiu!

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We're here to help and let's work on this together.

With your query, yes, the Surface Dock 4 has two Mini DisplayPort ports that can be used to connect external monitors. You can use a Mini DisplayPort to DVI-D adapter to connect your Dell P2214H monitors to the Surface Dock 4. Alternatively, you can use a USB-C to DVI-D adapter to connect the monitors directly to the Surface 5. Please note that you will need to purchase the appropriate adapter separately.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    RodelioP.

Thanks for your response, RodelioP. And yes, it does help.
I was afraid to buy the adapters only to discover that they will not work.
