Camera

I recently purchased the Surface Go 3, and up until recently, I was able to markup a photo with the stylus and without the added extra step(s) of creating a separate file. For example, before I would (1) take a picture, (2) markup the picture within the camera app, (3) it would save the original picture and the marked-up picture. And I was done. It was beautiful. Now, as of this week, I have to take the picture and separately open the photo album and save the marked-up picture by giving it a file name. So many more steps (i.e. inefficient).

What happened? It was so much easier before. I can't seem to revert to it now, Any ideas?

Thank you,

    Hi House Inspector,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that it's more efficient to save both original and edited picture at a time.

To further check on this, we may need more information:

    • What was the last activity before this happened?
    • What changes have been made before this?
    • May I confirm the app version of the Camera? Go to settings > apps > apps & features > look for the Camera app > check the camera app version.
    • Was there any updates before this happened?

    Looking forward to your response.
