I know the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 reached the EOL in June 2023. That mean that the device would no longer receive driver and firmware updates but what about the critical security updates? Will they still receive the security updates?

    Hello Noles,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I believe that you've read the information in the following support link:

Surface Pro 6 update history - Microsoft Support

Let me explain to you that security updates are pushed with Windows, and as long as the version of Windows you are using is still supported, you will receive the Windows update push that includes both quality updates and security updates.

In fact, you don't even need to be particularly concerned about this, because by default, the computer automatically receives and installs pushed updates, and you may see "Update and power down" or "Update and restart" options when you shut down the computer, which means that the computer has received the update push and is ready for installation.

    Best Regards,
