Hello Nareuchaya,
The Surface 2 RT's micro USB port is not for charging. The only way to charge the Surface is through the charging port of the device.
Thank you.

It comes with a micro usb port. so question is, can i plug in an external power pack or powerbank to charge it via micro USB? i broke my charger, it is not charging, there is no light or frayed wires ( i cleaned it). Now even if i plug something in, i wont know whether it is charging, as it has no battery and is now flat.
Thanks
