- Perform a hard reset: Press and hold the power button on your Surface Pro 8 for 30 seconds, then release it. Wait for a few seconds, then press the power button again to turn on your device.
- Try turning the power connector over and plugging into the device from a different orientation.
- Check for updates: Make sure that your Surface Pro 8 is up to date with the latest Windows updates. To check for updates, go to Settings > Windows Update>check for update.
- Run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit: Download and run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit to check for any hardware issues with your device.
