My Surface won't disconnect from the keyboard

How do I fix my surface when my keyboard will not disconnect from the screen?  Keyboard won't work.

    Hi,

    Unlike other Surface models, the keyboard of your Surface Laptop cannot be detached. You can refer to this article for tips in resolving the problem with the keyboard.
