Keyboard

I just bought a Microsoft Keyboard All-in-One Media.

It stops working. Then by moving up and down the button on the right side a green light appears.

The green light stays on only for few seconds and then disappears. I can use the keyboard for a while

but if it stays unused for a certain time, it stops working.

Can somebody help me to understand how works this keyboard?

Thanks,

Daniel
