How can I turn off the fan in surface book 2

I know that you aren't supposed to turn off the fan but it is broken and doesn't start. It attempts to start overt 30 seconds and makes a horrible loud squeaking sound.

I would need to take it to a Microsoft store to get it replaced and there is no store in my country so I need a makeshift solution.

Because it is not switching on anyway I figure I can just turn it off..however I tried finding the setting in the BIOS UIEF and nothing comes up.

I've also tried 3rd party software to no avail.

Any solutions?

Kindly read the question in detail which specifically says that a repair is not possible.

So is there a way to switch off the fan?
