QWERTZ keyboard

I accidentaly bought a german type cover for my surface pro 8. I´m okay with it for the must part but I cannot get used to the Z being on the spot the Y is supposed to be for me. Is there a way I can assign the key funtions to something else? So I can switch these two with one another?
I already tried putting the keyboard in qwerty mode but then I get even more confused which button does which special sign (like @ and ! for exemple)

I hope you can help me out since I alsready opened the keyboard packaging, so I am afraid I cannot return it anymore.

Greetings,

Rowan

Microsoft does not have any key remapping functions for Surface keyboards, sorry. Where did you buy the keyboard? Although you opened the packaging, you still may be able to exchange it, depending on where you purchased it.
