Camera doesn't work with Verifly

I am traveling and my American Airline app required Verifly to get validation on my passport and Covid vaccine status. The first step using the Verifly app is to take to open the Verifly app on my Duo2 and it prompts to take a selfie, and it doesn't take the picture, stuck in "retake" loop. I find out that the selfie is what links the app to the phone so I can't use it without taking the selfie.

I used another android phone and it took the picture immediately and I was able to check in on my flight. But I need the Duo 2 to work with this app for future flights. I am thinking camera settings but I could use some help.

Have you checked that all permissions are granted for the Verifly app? I've seen this before on a different app when the permissions are either denied or set to only when the app is in use.

Hello, Just having the same problem on Galaxy tab. Granted ALL permissions but camera stuck on normal (not selfie). Setting camera on selfie didn't help within the Verifly app. Thanks
