Color scheme constantly changing. while watching movies and videos.

I have a SurfaceBook 2 with 256 ssd,1060 gtx. Whenever watching any movies on netflix the screen brightness and color scheme continually changes. 

Please Simulate the problem on normal settings by watching MindHunter's 1 st episode on netflix(Most visible on this) and let me know if this a hardware issue or an driver issue with display card. And if microsoft is going to take care of it ?

    Hi,

    For us to better resolve your concern, please answer the following questions:

    • When did you start experiencing this issue?

    • Have you done any recent changes on your device prior to this?

    • Have you tried using another app like YouTube, if you'll experience the same thing?

    Hi,

    I face this problem in particular when watching movies. I just suggested a way to recreate the problem, If you can simulate the conditions exactly as I have mentioned , there will be a clear propagation of problem statement to Microsoft tech support and we can all work to solve the problem. I haven't done any recent changes prior to this. And most importantly If you first checked this problem on other devices then we can know whether majority of the surface book are facing this issue ?

    Just to clarify, are you watching movies using the Netflix application or from a browser? Also, can you try using another device and check if you'll experience the same thing?

    I am also facing the same issue while watching any video (youtube/coursera) on my new SB2 (i5/128GB).

    The color scheme becomes over saturated after the mouse is idle for few seconds and the video status bar disappears. This becomes especially prominent in a bright colorful video such as this - "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BQSLKPF0A8" : notice the color shift to over saturation at 0:43. I am using chrome browser.

    Instead, if using edge browser, the color is over saturated throughout the video

    Hi, 

    I'm having the same issue with my SB2 (i5 265gb). I'm watching from a browser. It happens to essentially any video I watch. I recently got a new replacement SB2 for an unrelated reason and after a few hours of no color changes on videos, I'm now experiencing it again.
