I recently downloaded a zip file. It had 50 gbs inside. When I started unzipping, Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 1 (1st generation) stopped working. Now, whenever I start my Surface, the circle keeps spinning. I think my HD is out of storage amd hence Windows is facing problems loading.

Please guide how I can delete files from 'My Documents' to free up storage so that Windows 10 can load?

Can I delete files from 'My Documents' using x:\windows\system32? How?

    The circle keeps turning.

I tried long press of power button and volume down. Surface logo blinks and the computer turns off.

You MIGHT be able to use a variation of Rescue Files when Windows Won't Start - Microsoft Community if you can boot from USB successfully.

    Sorry for the late reply.

I don't have any other computer accessible. Cannot go out of home because of political unrest in our country.

Once things settle down, I'll go to the computer store, buy a USB, then go to my University, download Windows Rescue in the USB using a computer in my lab, and then work on my Surface.

For now, I am using my cell phone only.
