So I bought a new pen for my Surface Pro 4 and whenever I open a new canvas on Paint Tool Sai only one specific spot starts to glitch.  I don't think it is the pen that is the issue. The whole canvas would be fine but right in the middle it's like there is an invisible bar there and when I draw slowly in that specific spot the cursor jumps above and below that area like its outlining it. When I draw circles in that area the come out with a sharp edge at the bottom involuntarily. I can't draw unless its either above or below this area. Please help.

    Hello SWat___Team,

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community. It might be related to the touch screen. Kindly try the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager.
    • Expand Human Interface Devices.
    • Right-click on HID-Compliant Touch Screen and select Uninstall. If there is more than one driver, uninstall that as well. If only one driver, click View then Show hidden devices. If the other driver shows up HID-Compliant Touch Screen, uninstall it. Include the Intel Precise Touch Device. (Note: If prompted with a checkbox stating "Delete the driver software for this device", leave it uncheck then hit Uninstall.)
    • Restart the device and test your pen using different writing/drawing apps.

Hope that helps. Please keep us posted.

    Regards,

    KarenJune_F
