I have a couple of these mice. They used a specific dongle. I am wondering if there is any chance to connect them directly via Bluetooth. I don't have those dongles anymore. Is my only alternative to throw them to the trash?

    Hi Marco Albán-Galeas,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

First, I'm sorry to hear that you don't have access to the USB transceiver or dongles of these mice. As much as we would love to assist you to address this concern, but the USB transceiver or dongle has an Advance encryption System that would allow you to secure your KeyStore and information not shared over the air. These dongles are uniquely and securely bound or programmed to the mouse or the keyboard at the factory and are sold as a matched set. Because of the secure binding or programming, we are unable to provide a replacement dongle that would work with the mouse or keyboard you own. Lost dongles are also not covered by the Standard Manufacturer's Warranty.

To answer your question if this can be connected through Bluetooth, is this the mouse that you have: Microsoft Arc Touch Wireless Mouse | Microsoft Accessories? If yes, this mouse only connects through the USB dongle, and we could not connect it directly to the host device through Bluetooth.

    Kind regards,

    Marrion
