USB-C charging

Hi,

I bought a Surface Laptop Go one month ago and today I tried for the first time to charge it via the USB-C port. It wasn't charging even with different USB-C cables. What is the problem? Should I enhance any setting in my device?

May I confirm what USB-C cables are you using? For best performance, we recommend using a USB-C charger that provides at least the same wattage as the power supply that was included with your Surface:

What charger are you using? Most PHONE USB-C chargers do not have enough power to charge your Surface. you need a minimum of a 40W PD (Power Delivery) USB-C charger and a PD compatible USB-C cable. Note that there are some 40W chargers with two ports that only deliver 20W per port. 60W USB-C PD 3.0 charger with a single port should work.

I cannot really tell exactly, but in the power adapter it is written:

Input: 100-240V, 50-60Hz 0.5A

Output: 9.0V=1.67A or 5.0V=2.0A

What is the brand and model number of the USB-C power adapter you are using? What is the wattage? You provided info, but need the WATT info.
