Hi,

Is it possible to use docking station (for example Microsoft Surface Dock 2) with Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and make my two monitors display different screens? (to see different screen on laptop, different on first monitor and different on the second) I am asking because ive heard Microsoft Surface Pro 7 doesnt have thunderbolt in its usb-c port and its supposed to mean that the only thing docking station can do is mirroring screens.

    Hello Dawid_93,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community. We understand how important for you to extend the display from your device to your external monitors.

I would like to inform you that Surface Pro 7 has a regular USB-C port which supports most of the peripherals nowadays. As by design, your device can also support up to two external monitors via dock using an appropriate cables wherein you can duplicate or extend the display. But based on your preference, I believe you're trying to extend the display where you'll see everything spread over all screens, and you can drag and move items between them. See Connect Surface to a TV, monitor, or projector (microsoft.com) for more details.

I hope this answers your concern.

    Kind regards,

    StevenK
