I have 2 curved 34 inch monitors but I can not get the same 3440 x 1440 resolution on both monitors. Any way to adjust the settings? Display resolution stops at 2560 x 1440 on the 2nd monitor. Using the surface pro laptop studio and windows 11.

    Hi AJ Hatfield,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

We would like to ask first for a few details regarding with the set up before we provide some steps to try:

    • May I know how are the monitors connected to the device? Is it through a Surface Dock (which dock model) or a third-party dock or hub (please provide make and model)? See: Identify your Surface Dock and features - Microsoft Support for reference on the Surface Dock.
    • What is the make and model of the external monitors used? If possible, please provide us with a page where we could see its specifications.
    • Which ports are being on the dock and monitor to connect them? Are you using a direct cable, or it uses an adapter in between?
    • Is this the first time that you are trying to connect these monitors to the Surface, or this used to work before then suddenly issue occurs?

For now, kindly try first to lower the refresh rate on the first external monitor then see if the second monitor would then provide you with the 3440 x 1440 resolution.

We may recommend other troubleshooting steps once we have received your responses to the questions above.

    Kind regards,

    Marrion
