is this information right or they swab my original screen with something else?

    Hi, Meco1981m!

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your concerns regarding your Surface Pro 4 screen. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about this and allowing us to help you out. I am curious as to where you see the LG brand. Can you share a photo by uploading it here?

From the teardown videos I checked online, there's no brand I see. If you check the Device Manager, go to Monitors, then double-tapSurface Display, you will see Microsoft as the manufacturer. I see Microsoft through Device Manager on several devices we have here. As for Surface devices needing service, we don't repair them, a replacement is provided.

We hope this helps you out. Otherwise, don't hesitate to respond to this thread if there’s anything else that needs to be addressed.

    Kind regards,

    Janette_Z
