How to connect a Steelseries Rival to my Surface Pro?

I plugged the mouse in, and nothing happened. So I went and downloaded Engine 3 from the Steelseries website, and that didn't do anything. I ran the troubleshooter, tried manually downloading the driver, and nothing has worked. I know its not the mouse because when plugged into my friends computer it works fine. When I plug it in, a window pops up and says "USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected malfunction and Windows does not recognize it." I also don't think its the computer because when I plugged my friends mouse in (Razer Deathadder) it worked fine. Please help.

    Hello jakethesnake0709,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with connecting your mouse to your Surface Pro.

Please check the Windows Compatibility Center to see if your device is compatible with Windows.  If it is not, there is no guarantee that it will work.

Also, you should check with the manufacturer of the mouse.  They may offer their own drivers which you could install on your Surface Pro.

Let us know if you have any more questions.

    Best Wishes,

    Zack_T
