Why the usage of RAM is so high on Surface Pro 8?

I need some help understanding why my Surface Pro 8 memory usage is so high. I have 16GB of ram with an idle memory usage of like 58% (that is without any applications running). If i open edge, whatsapp or file explorer, the memory usage easily spikes to >65% and stays up there consistently. I've noticed the laptop was sluggish from when i first purchased it. I have read a fair bit about memory leaks in the earlier surface pro versions, but do not see >2,5GB in the Non-Paged Pool under the performance page in Task Manager.

It seems to me there are a lot of Service Host and svchost.exe services taking up tidbits of ram. What can be done to help fix this issue?

Does it have anything that I can do to solve this? Its getting really hot my Surface, even sometimes with some screen crash/bug (maybe because it's too hot).

Maybe the image is note working on the website. I tried to upload a screenshot and a file, but both not working...

    Hi Adriano Brandini Celli,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are having issues on your Surface Pro 8 where it has a high CPU usage causing slow performance and also, the Surface get warm until it crashes.

Just to clarify though, when the Surface heats up, does it show you a thermometer icon? or it shows a bluescreen error instead? If it is a bluescreen error, may I know what error code or message does it usually show? If possible, provide us with a picture of the error.

Also, please provide us also with a screenshot of the Task Manager window of the device showing the Processes tab.

If you are not able to attach photos on your reply here with us, you may instead upload the photos on OneDrive then just provide us here with the Shared Link. See this page for reference: Share files with OneDrive - Microsoft Support

For now, please check the Surface drivers' health through the Surface app, run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit to run some system checks and repairs and check for updates in Windows Settings > Windows updates to make sure all updates are installed including Optional updates. See this page for reference: Fix common Surface problems using the Surface app and Surface Diagnostic Toolkit - Microsoft Support. After running those steps, see if the behavior of the device improves.

    Kind regards,
    Marrion

    Hi Marrion,

    follow the link requested:

As your question about the heat process, no it doesn't pop any thermometer or bluescreen.

I didn't take a picture of the problem, but its as the scream was like the photo below:
