New Surface Laptop only allowing School or Work at OOBE.

I just bought a new Surface Laptop Studio from a seller on Amazon but it seems to be an education / work sku and wont' let me login with my personal email at OOBE. How can I fix this and setup for personal use?

    The seller must ensure that the device is deleted from the previous owner's device management. If the seller cannot take care of this, you should cancel the purchase. The device cannot be used by you as long as it is registered in the previous owner's device management.

    It was purchased as a new device so shouldn't have a previous owner.

    Especially if the seller sold the device as "new", you must contact the seller with your problem. He or she is responsible for ensuring that you can use the Surface without any restrictions.

    Even restoring the delivery state with a recovery stick will not solve the problem.
