I miss the headphone Jack on the Surface Pro too, but you don't have to give up on the Surface line completely. You can always buy a Surface Laptop that still has this port.
Surface pro 11 missing 3.5mm earphones jack. Are you kidding me?
I have a desktop pc and i wanted to get something portable and get rid of my desktop pc.
The choice is between MacBook Air M3 or Surface Pro 11.
I wanted to give it a try to the Surface Pro 11 but i eventually realized that there is A BIG ISSUE with this.
I only use earphones all the time while working. It could be 8-10 hours every single day.
I will never use Bluetooth wireless earphones. They emit lots of radiation and in the long run it may cause inflammation or worse. They are very dangerous in the long run because of the extremely close distance to the brain tissue. (of course the producers will come back and say this is not true or there is no evidence for that, but i do not care what they say. I KNOW BETTER).
Microsoft also assumes that i should use a usb C adapter for my earphone jack? How many usb C ports did Microsoft install in this device? 4-5? No. Just two. This is already a ridiculous small number of ports and according to Microsoft i should use one of them only for my earphones? Seriously... come on! Do not play us for fools.
Just put a 3.5mm jack. It cost you nothing and it takes up virtually no space at all.
I wanted to get a new surface pro but i was shocked when i found out that it is not good for me.
Only because of the lack of one small 3.5mm earphone jack i will have to give up on surface pro and get a MacBook air.
Well done Microsoft.
Thank you for nothing
