Which dock shall I buy for my surface pro 9?

Looking to buy a dock for my surface pro 9 off amazon, just wondering if the dock specifically has to have the double usb C connection to both ports on the surface pro, or can it just connect to one of the ports and work the same?

    You don't need to connect both, just one that can connect to one of the USB-C ports. Let me introduce you to the Surface's dedicated Dock, Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock:

    Or, another docking station that doesn't extend with USB-C, Surface Dock 2:
