Surface Go 64GB

I have a Surface Go 64GB and the Windows environment is corrupted and won't boot. The person who used it never backed up the data from the onboard flash drive. Is any method anyone knows of that would allow me to pull the data off the flash drive? Much like an SSD card or Hard Drive where you can simply pull the drive out and place it in an external USB rig and attached it to another computer to access the data?

    Hi HenryMoray,

Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community.

The SSD card of the Surface Go is not removeable. If you'll forcibly remove this from the Surface Go, it may induce damage to other hardware components of the unit. It will nullify the warranty of the Surface device and may hinder the user from getting a replacement if in case he/she decides to send it for service.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Kind Regards,

    Crest
