My brand new Microsoft keyboard will not connect to my Microsoft Surface Pro 8. Why?

I need help with my brand new Keyboard…it will not connect with my MS Surface Pro 8.

    I understand that you are experiencing problems connecting the Surface keyboard to the Surface Pro 8, if it is convenient, could you please clarify to us here which keyboard you are using?

    Or you are using a Microsoft keyboard?

     

    Different models of keyboard and the connection between the Surface is different, for example, the Surface Pro keyboard is directly connected to the Surface through the physical port, but the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard is connected to the Surface with Bluetooth. If you can explain to us the type of keyboard you are using, and describe in detail what specific problems you have encountered, then we can troubleshoot the problem according to the information you provide.
