What adapter do I need to connect the new Surface Laptop Studio to an older Apple Thunderbolt display. I tried an apple thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to thunderbolt 2 adapter and that did not work. The connectors were correct but the Surface did not recognize any display was connected.

    Hi RichardRed1,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you encounter in connecting your older Apple Thunderbolt display to the Surface Laptop Studio.

The Surface Laptop Studio USB-C ports are Thunderbolt 4 compatible. Please try using a Thunderbolt 4 adapter/hub/dock instead.

    Kind regards,

    Marrion

Wow you really don't know what you are talking about.

I don't believe that monitor is compatible with windows. Thunderbolt 4 OTOH is 100% compatible with thunderbolt 3, they are pretty much the same thing.
