Hi All

Cannot Separate My Surface Book From Keyboard and Separator Button On Keyboard Light is ON

and I Cannot Turn ON with Power Button

Please Help Me Tnx

    I had a similar issue which happened because my Clipboard battery drained (it stopped using my keyboard battery for some reason). The Separator button stayed red and I couldn't power up. Someone tipped me to search YouTube for a manual clipboard release which works and I was able to charge up my clipboard and start everything back up. Microsoft ended up replacing my device though, so if you are having the keyboard battery issue it might require replacement.

    Anyway do a quick search on Youtube for manual separation. It only requires a paperclip that has been straightened out and triggering the releases on each side of the clipboard at the 6th (from bottom) vent.
