Broken screen after a single fall?

I was working on my refurbished surface laptop when my cat pushed it off my lap. It fell off my couch, about a foot and a half and landed on its side still open. I picked it up and half the screen had rainbow lines and was glitching out like crazy. I closed my laptop and opened it back up and it looked nearly the same. I restarted my laptop but it did nothing. It still responds for the most part but the screen is so obstructed it’s no longer usable. I received the laptop about a month ago as a Christmas present. I don’t know what I should do.
