Internet Connection Drops Off Intermittently

While on the internet the connection randomly drops off on my Surface laptop purchased in January.  I'm still connected to my home network and all of my other devices, including my husband's laptop running Windows 10, can still connect. My husband never has this problem so I have to assume it is a problem with my Surface laptop and not with Windows 10.  The troubleshooter fixes the problem, but only temporarily.  I've seen that others have had this same problem but I have not seen a solution.  It is annoying to have to reconnect every few minutes and the problem only seems to be getting worse.

    Hi dlhatton,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

Please do these steps to troubleshoot the issue and observe if still issue persist:

1: Run Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and check Windows Update

    2: Update drivers and firmware

Check what is the current OS Build of your Windows version by going to Settings > System > About.

Go to Download driver and firmware for Surface, choose Surface Laptop 3 then click Download on the next page.

Choose the .msi file that matches your current OS Build and click Next.

After downloading, run and install the .msi then Restart.

This worked temporarily, but now the problem is back. When I run the diagnostics it says that my computer is set to connect to the network manually.  It is actually set to connect automatically.  The diagnostic does seem to fix the problem for a short while, but then I lose internet again while still connected to my wi-fi.  I did not have this problem with my Macbook.  It is disconcerting to see so many people are having internet problems but Microsoft still has not addressed it.
